About Fabienne Chazeaux

Founder of Hellotools Editions
I like to describe myself as a jack of all trades and a self-taught creative.
Since childhood, I’ve always been passionate about drawing, painting, writing, listening, and observing.
My curiosity has driven me to understand people and the world around me by exploring relationships, landscapes, and elements—always in search of meaning and beauty. This lifelong exploration has undoubtedly sharpened my empathy.
Over the years, I’ve experimented with a wide variety of mediums: sculpture, painting, photography, mosaic, sewing, and graphic design.
I’m naturally curious and love discovering new ways to learn and express myself.
Today, as a psychosociologist, therapist, supervisor, coach, and trainer (I run my own therapy school in England), I integrate various creative tools—such as card decks and guided visualization programs—that I’ve developed over time to enrich my practice and support my clients and patients.
I’m continually inspired by the profound transformations these tools can bring about in a relatively short time.

Communication is essential to me, and I’ve always been passionate about offering alternative forms of expression beyond words. Words aren’t always available, yet emotions are constantly flowing through us.
That’s why developing these tools and media came so naturally to me. I now use them in a variety of settings—therapy, work with my students, professional seminars, coaching and training, and supervision.

I’m thrilled to now share these resources with fellow practitioners and the general public through Editions Hellotools, which brings this exciting project to life.

History of the cards

Communication is important to me, and I've always been committed to offering alternative media to speech. Words aren't always possible, yet emotions constantly run through us.
The first drawings that would serve as the basis for the first card games appeared in 2010 or 2011.
I use them initially with my clients and therapy students, but also in professional workshops and businesses. Over the years, I add drawings and refine my method, which is already well proven!
Given their success and the numerous requests from their users, I decided to release them to a wider audience in 2021.
The Hellotools store was born in 2023.
What an adventure... From drawing the cards (I must have done more than 600) (and the first drawings, I did them with my little mouse and my computer, without a graphic palette!!), to the instructions for use, to the workshops to use them, to the creation of the publishing house, to the search for a printer in Europe capable of producing the boxes that I had in mind, to the creation of the online store... and so on.
I look forward to sharing them with the general public, parents, carers, managers, therapists and coaches.
A big thank you also to all those who have accompanied me, directly or indirectly, on this journey. Thank you for your encouragement, inspiration, ideas, and feedback. Thank you for trying them out in advance, for helping me improve them, and above all, for trusting me.
I feel full of gratitude.
Today it’s up to us to continue writing this beautiful story !!
